US animation event honors ‘Nobody’

Iranian short animation ‘Nobody’ wins mention at the Florida Animation Festival in the US.

The 9-minute Iranian title received the honor in the student category of the US event.

Directed by Elham Toroqi, ‘Nobody’ tells the story of a white cat living in city of black residents. The cat tries hard to get food but no one seems bothered to give any.

The flick has so far succeeded to attend a number of international animation festivals, including the 22nd ANIMAC International Film Festival in Spain, the 11th ANIMANIMA International Animation Festival in Serbia, and the first Bute Street Film Festival in the UK.

The 15th Palace International Short Film Festival in Bulgaria and the 2nd Indie Best Films Festival in the US are among the recent global experiences of ‘Nobody’.

The Florida Animation Festival is a multi-day film festival launched in 2016 to showcase amazing animated films and spotlight both regional and global animation talent.

The 2018 edition of the Florida Animation Festival was held in the US.
